Review of the 38th Bürgerfest 2025
The 38th edition of the Lecker Bürgerfest from September 5th to 7th, 2025, once again attracted thousands of visitors to Leck's city centre. The Bürgerfestverein Leck successfully implemented a packed programme — from the children's play "Oh, wie schön ist Panama" on Friday afternoon in the town hall to the grand fireworks display on Sunday afternoon.
Highlights included, as always, the Dragonflys concert on Friday evening at the Leck-Huus, the bustling street flea market and the Bunte Meile on Saturday with live bands on two stages and the exuberant Danz op de Straat until midnight. On Sunday, the programme moved to the Augarten — a pirate camp show, face painting for children, and the Lecker Entenrennen as the emotional peak. The festival's conclusion at 5 PM with a large fireworks display marked the traditional end of a three-day town festival that reflects Leck's character and its community spirit as precisely as hardly any other event of the year.
