Edition 2025 — Lebanon Festival

Prior to the premiere of the Lebanon Festival in autumn 2026, the Elbphilharmonie used the 2025/26 season for preparation. The thematic festivals of the preceding season focused on other musical cultures and conceptually prepared the audience for the Lebanese weekend.

The Lebanon Festival is announced as a premiere for 2026 — it is the first edition of this specific thematic festival at the Elbphilharmonie. In the preceding 2025/26 season, other thematic weekends were realized, with which the venue established its line of world music programming within the classical concert venue.

As no specific Lebanon Festival edition took place in 2025, this season serves as a prelude — programmatically and logistically — to the 2026 festival, which is conceived as part of the Elbphilharmonie's tenth-anniversary program.
