The 27th Lausitzer Herbstmarkt took place in 2025, as is tradition, on the first Sunday in October at Oberkirchplatz Cottbus. With regional craftspeople, direct marketers, demonstrations of old techniques, and folkloric performances, the market attracted day-trippers from the Lausitz and the surrounding region, as it does every year. COEX Veranstaltungs GmbH, as the long-standing organiser, ensured the proven market concept. Free admission.

Lausitzer Herbstmarkt 2025 in Retrospect

In 2025, the Oberkirchplatz in Cottbus once again transformed into the venue for the 27th Lausitzer Herbstmarkt on the first Sunday in October. Seven hours of market featuring regional craftspeople from the Spreewald basket tradition, ceramics, beekeeping, lavender, woodwork, and wool processing.

Demonstrations of old craft techniques — pottery, felting, spinning, basket weaving — and performances by folkloric dance and singing groups rounded off the programme. Organiser: COEX Veranstaltungs GmbH. Free admission. Late-opening Sunday in Cottbus city centre.
