The 2025 edition of the Lausitz Festival once again featured more than a dozen locations in Upper and Lower Lusatia with theatre, concerts, readings, and contemporary art. The festival continued its commitment to making top-tier art accessible in unusual venues.
The Lausitz Festival 2025 combined classical music, jazz, theatre, music theatre, and visual arts in a unique festival landscape stretching from Görlitz, Cottbus, Zittau, Weißwasser, Forst, and other venues – including industrial monuments like the Brikettfabrik Louise. International ensembles and renowned soloists presented a rich program that culturally supported the region's structural transformation.
