The Lausitz Festival 2025 ran from August 26 to September 14, 2025. With theatre, concerts, and performances, it encompassed the entire German-Saxon-Polish Lusatia and definitively established itself as the region's most important cultural festival.

The Lausitz Festival 2025 continued the tradition of large-scale industrial productions, combining them with classical concerts in the churches of Lusatia. International ensembles and national theatre productions shaped the programme — the foundation for the seventh edition in 2026 with the new art prize and the Hamlet focus in Cottbus.
