Overview

The 218th edition of the Kunigundenfest took place from July 4th to 8th, 2025, under the motto "Magical Lauf" (with a Harry Potter reference). GS Heuchling staged the festival play; the processions took place on Sunday, July 6th, and Monday, July 7th, at 1:30 PM each day from Wenzelschloss to Kunigundenberg. In parallel, the folk festival with a festival tent and amusement rides ran on Heldenwiese.

Kunigundenfest 2025 – "Magical Lauf"

In 2025, the Kunigundenfest was themed "Magical Lauf" and playfully referenced the world of Harry Potter. The performing school was the Heuchling primary school. The processions took place on Sunday, July 6th, and Monday, July 7th, at 1:30 PM each day.

Program 2025

The children marched in historical costumes from Wenzelschloss through the old town to Kunigundenberg, where the Prologue of Empress Kunigunde, the mayor's address, the festival play, as well as the White Round Dance and the Flag Round Dance were performed. A classic folk festival with a festival tent and amusement rides ran in parallel on Heldenwiese.
