Overview

The 18th Lauenburg Fish Mile once again opened the maritime season in the historic old town in 2025. Smoked fish, beer-battered fish, fish rolls, and shanty music attracted locals and guests from Hamburg, Lüneburg, and the region to the Elbe alleys. As usual, the Old Town Flea Market and the Elbe river trips on the century steamer Kaiser Wilhelm ran in parallel.

Review: Fish Mile 2025

The 18th edition of the Lauenburger Fischmeile once again confirmed the successful concept of maritime culinary delights, live music, and parallel old town activities. Between Lösch- und Ladeplatz and Ruferplatz, the fish stalls offered smoked fish, beer-battered fish, and fish rolls — the highlight, as always, was the beer-battered fish from a Büsum crab fisherman.

In 2025, Touristik Lauenburg was once again able to present the paddle steamer Kaiser Wilhelm and the restaurant ship BS LAUENBURG at Ruferplatz. The parallel Old Town Flea Market between the church and Neustadt, as well as the Open House at Künstlerhaus, completed the program.
