Latin America and Caribbean Autumn (LAC Autumn)
2025
Edition 2025 — Finished
Edition 2025 — LAC Autumn
The 2025 edition spanned the period from September 6 to November 22, lasting over two and a half months. The program was decentralized: each event was independently organized by an association, institution, consulate, or private individual — the EU-LAC Foundation collected the contributions under the common festival label.
The more than 80 events included concerts (Tango from Argentina, Son from Cuba, Forró from Brazil), film screenings, exhibitions, cooking classes, dance workshops, readings, and traditional festivals. The Día de Muertos in early November was, as every year, one of the most popular dates. In twelve years, LAC Autumn has established itself as a fixture in Hamburg's cultural landscape — and as the most important LAC cultural festival in Germany.
