Edition 2025 — Lantern Procession
A Tried-and-Tested St. Martin's Ritual
The 2025 St. Martin's festival in Blankenhagen followed the well-established sequence: meeting at the village church in the early evening, a short devotion on the St. Martin's legend, a joint procession through the village with lanterns and musical accompaniment, a St. Martin's bonfire, and catering on the village square. The event is traditionally organized by the parish and supported by clubs and families from Blankenhagen.
For 2026, the format is again planned for the classic date of November 11th.
