Overview
The 36th Telgte Coach Pilgrimage in 2025 once again gathered around 100 coaches with horses of various breeds for the pilgrimage pontifical mass and the traditional coach parade through Telgte's old town. One of the most famous pilgrimage events in the Diocese of Münster.
The 2025 edition followed the proven format: gathering on the Planwiese in the morning, pontifical mass at 11:30 AM, lunch break, award ceremony in the afternoon, and coach parade at 2:30 PM through the old town. Around 100 teams with Friesians, Icelandics, Fjord horses, Haflingers, and mini horses attracted thousands of onlookers to the route.
Programme
Pontifical mass at 11:30 AM on the Planwiese, followed by the award ceremony for the three most beautiful teams by the expert jury, coach parade through the old town at 2:30 PM. Approximately 100 participating coaches of various horse breeds.
