Overview

The 22nd Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften Halle in 2025 gathered around 30,000 visitors at the locations of the Martin Luther University, the Leopoldina, and the non-university research institutions. Free admission, seven hours of hands-on science.

The 2025 edition continued the successful concept: three campuses, decentralized external locations, shuttle bus service, and a central stage program at University Square. Highlights included Reformation research on the occasion of the Luther anniversary year, climate research in the Magdeburger Börde, and robotics demonstrations at the Institute of Computer Science.
