Overview
The 2025 Landesringreiten, as usual, took place in September in the region of the Ringreiterverband Marsch-Geest. A festive parade, 30 competition rounds, and the ceremonial awards ceremony in the afternoon marked the main tournament of the Frisian riding tradition between the Eider and Elbe rivers.
The 2025 Landesringreiten continued the decades-long tradition of the Ringreiterverband Marsch-Geest e.V. Hundreds of riders from the Steinburg district and the wider region gathered for an all-day competition, opened by a festive parade in the morning and crowned by the awards ceremony in the late afternoon. The Frisian riding tradition, intangible cultural heritage of Schleswig-Holstein since 2021, found its grand association moment again in 2025.
