Overview

The last Landeskinderturnfest before 2026 took place in 2024 — a three-day major sports festival for young gymnasts from all over Germany, organized by the Swabian Gymnastics Federation. Up to several thousand children aged 6 to 15 participated in competitions across ten disciplines. One of the largest children's sports events in Baden-Württemberg.

The 2024 edition — the penultimate one before 2026 — confirmed the festival's established structure: three festival days with an opening ceremony, a main competition day, and a closing festival. Competitions in more than ten disciplines spread across several schools and competition venues of the respective host city.

As always, the Landeskinderturnfest was more than just a sports competition — it's an encounter festival where young gymnasts from all over Germany forge friendships and gain experience. The Swabian Gymnastics Federation, with its STB Youth division, organized the festival with practiced routine.
