Overview

The 37th Lake Constance Festival took place in May 2025 with over 60 events at around 20 venues in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The trinational classical music festival presented a diverse program ranging from Baroque to Classical, Romantic, and contemporary periods. Konstanz, Bregenz, Friedrichshafen, Lindau, Meersburg, Schaffhausen, and other locations shared the venues. One of Central Europe's most important classical summer festivals.

Lake Constance Festival 2025

The 37th edition continued the festival's trinational concept. Three weeks of programming in the Lake Constance border cities of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland — from the historic Spiegelhalle and Konzil Konstanz to the Festspielhaus Bregenz and the Stadttheater Schaffhausen. Renowned orchestras, soloists, and emerging ensembles shared the stages.

The festival remained true to its commitment to combining classical music with contemporary impulses and fostering a cross-border classical community. With around 35,000 visitors, the Lake Constance Festival 2025 remained one of the largest classical festivals in the region.
