Ladioo is a term established in the North German party scene for a specific Mallorca-Schlager format, characterized by intentionally exaggerated choruses, sing-along hooks, and a collective après-ski vibe. The open-air event of the same name brings this format to the Stoppelmarktgelände Vechta, transforming a spring afternoon into a continuous party — from the first wave of Mallorca sound in the early afternoon to the Power Hour in the late evening.

Pietro Lombardi, Oli P. and Julian Sommer

The three headliners exemplify the breadth of the Ladioo concept. Pietro Lombardi, a native of Karlsruhe and winner of DSDS 2011, is one of the most recognized voices in German mainstream Schlager. Oli P., who had a pop hit with "Flugzeuge im Bauch" in the late 1990s, represents the nostalgia element of the show. And Julian Sommer, with songs like "Dicht im Flieger," is one of the younger stars of the Ballermann-Schlager scene, with a significant reach on TikTok and Spotify.

Ladioo Power Hour

A dedicated program block is the Ladioo Power Hour, where electronic sets — Big Room House, EDM, and Hardstyle edits of well-known hits — turn the dance floor into a mega-disco. This programmatically overlaps the festival with major EDM open-airs without abandoning its Schlager and Mallorca core.

Stoppelmarktgelände as Festival Home

The use of the Stoppelmarktgelände combines traditional Volksfest (folk festival) heritage with contemporary open-air concert culture. The established infrastructure, including large-scale catering, sanitary facilities, and security and traffic concepts, makes the area a proven logistical success for events of this magnitude.
