Overview

The LabiRynT Festival 2025 took place in October on both sides of the Oder in Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice. As every year, over 80 artists from the German-Polish border region participated — with exhibitions, performances, films, and artist talks at ten venues.

LabiRynT 2025 — Retrospective

The 2025 edition of the LabiRynT — Festival of New Art continued the tradition since 2010: three days of contemporary art in the German-Polish twin city of Slubfurt (Frankfurt-Oder / Słubice). Over 80 artists showcased their works in galleries, cultural centers, churches, and public spaces on both sides of the Oder.

The festival remained true to its collaborative spirit: Kleist Forum, SMOK Słubice, Galeria OKNO, and Slubfurt e.V. once again formed the organizational backbone under the curatorship of Anna Panek-Kusz and Michael Kurzwelly. Guided tours connected the ten venues into a cross-border circuit — an artistic practice unique in its form in Europe.
