In autumn 2025, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden also presented its Autumn Festival with a comparable concept — a festival week in November featuring top-class symphony and choral concerts of the highest international calibre. The series thrives on the combination of star conductors, renowned orchestras (especially the Balthasar-Neumann Ensembles), and prominent soloists, and is a fixed component of the Festspielhaus's programme alongside the Pentecost Festivals and the opera season.
Autumn Festival 2025
As every year in November, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden presented its Autumn Festival in 2025 — a festival week with high-calibre concert evenings in Germany's largest concert hall. The format of a compact festival week in late autumn is one of the pillars of the Festspielhaus calendar, alongside the Pentecost and Summer Festivals.
Every year, the Autumn Festival brings together a combination of star conductors, renowned orchestras, and prominent soloists — in 2025, as always, a dense programme of major symphony concerts, choral works, and solo recitals. The series has been sponsored by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation for years and is an important cultural anchor for the spa town on the edge of the Black Forest.
