Köhlerfest Kohlstetten 2025
The previous edition followed the established three-day format. The setup, lighting, and charring phases were publicly documented as always; the audience could experience firsthand how the charcoal-making craft works. The Schwäbische Alb Musikanten provided the musical backdrop during the Frühschoppen — an established tradition of the annual celebration.
The Köhlerfest remains one of the rarest traditional festivals of the Swabian Jura — a piece of living economic and craft history directly from the Middle Ages, consciously continued in Kohlstetten.
