Kurzfilmfestival Köln — KFFK Edition 20

19th KFFK in Cologne's Südstadt

In late autumn 2025, the 19th edition of the Kurzfilmfestival Köln was held at the Filmhaus Kino. As in previous years, the German competition in the four sections—Feature Film, Documentary, Animation, and Experimental Film—formed the core of the program.

Filmmakers traveled from all over the German-speaking world, and the Q&A sessions after the screenings have long been a hallmark of the festival. KFFK is considered an important platform between the ifs internationale filmschule köln, KHM, and the independent short film scene.
