The Kupferstädter Weihnachtstage 2025 ran over five Advent weekends with castle illumination, Christmas market at the Alter Markt, night watchman tours, and the atmosphere of the historic old town.
In 2025, the event launched as a new format by Kupfer Events GmbH. The castle illumination at Stolberg Castle replaced the traditional Christmas market of previous years and was well-received — the staging of the historic castle as the central light element of Advent is a unique selling point for the NRW Christmas market landscape.
Programme
Five Advent weekends with castle illumination, Christmas market at the Alter Markt, night watchman tours, and live music. Weekend concentration: Saturday 3–9 PM, Sunday 12–8 PM.
