Overview

In 2025 too, around 1,000 artists in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern opened their studios for Kunst:Offen during the Whitsun weekend. On Rügen, Bergen, Putbus, Garz, and the Mönchgut peninsula were again involved. The town museum in Bergen was, as usual, a point of contact for visitors, Kathrin Thesenvitz's studio opened its doors, and Circus 7 presented itself in Putbus.

A Proven Whitsun Format

Kunst:Offen 2025 followed the established concept of the series: three days of open workshops and galleries throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with free admission. On Rügen, numerous studios in Bergen, Putbus, Garz, and on the Mönchgut peninsula participated again. The town museum in Bergen was, as usual, a point of contact for visitors, Kathrin Thesenvitz's studio opened its doors, and Circus 7 presented itself in Putbus.

The statewide participation – around 1,000 artists at about 500 locations – underscores Kunst:Offen's status as one of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's most important cultural community events. The tradition will continue in Whitsun 2026.
