Overview
In 2025, the concept for Kulturtag Mülheim was developed during the concept phase — without a public event. Independent Mülheim cultural actors, led by Dr. Hanna Hinrichs and Martina Krall, worked on the program and the open call, which was then completed by the application deadline of February 20, 2026.
The Kulturtag Mülheim did not yet take place in 2025 — the premiere is planned for 2026. 2025 was the concept and planning phase: The Kulturstammtisch Mülheim worked on the format, the City of Mülheim integrated the concept into the official cultural calendar, and the open call for artist contributions was prepared. This preparatory phase was important to launch the 1st edition in 2026 with a well-developed program.
