Also in 2025, Sebnitz hosted a week of the Kultursommer Sächsische Schweiz. The program of theater, concerts, and family activities on the market square and at various venues was enjoyed by thousands of visitors from Sebnitz, the district, and the entire Sächsische Schweiz. The artificial flower city welcomes a new generation of festival-goers every summer.
Kultursommer Sebnitz — The Tradition
The Sebnitz Week of the Kultursommer Sächsische Schweiz follows a fixed structure: program on the market square, concerts in the city church, theater at the city theater, special guided tours at the artificial flower manufactory. In 2025, the festival week again combined the Wirtschaftsinitiative Sächsische Schweiz e. V. with the local association landscape. For 2026, the Sebnitz Week will take place from July 13th to 19th.
