The 5th edition of Kultursommer Nordschwarzwald ran from mid-July to mid-August 2025 with over 90 events in the region. Sub-festivals like Happiness, ENZ live, and Rossini in Wildbad, along with theatre productions, classical concerts, and art exhibitions, shaped the program.
2025 Edition
In 2025, Kultursommer Nordschwarzwald held its 5th edition, attracting several tens of thousands of visitors to the region between Pforzheim, Calw, and Freudenstadt. Sub-festivals such as the Happiness Festival, ENZ live, Rossini in Wildbad, and the Klostersommer Hirsau formed the highlights.
The theatre production at Burg Zavelstein became a crowd-puller, and the street theatre festival in Pforzheim — "Sommersprossen" — established itself as a fixture in the Southern German street theatre calendar. The organizers drew a positive conclusion and announced the 6th edition in 2026 with Jonas Gavriil as the opening artist.
