Overview
The Kulturpicknick auf Consol in 2025 took place as usual over Pentecost at the Consol cultural grounds. Three days of free family culture with workshops, live music, circus, and sports rental. The City of Gelsenkirchen and Gelsensport once again positioned the festival as an intergenerational event without consumption pressure.
In 2025, the Pentecost format established itself as a fixture in Gelsenkirchen's event calendar. The mix of hands-on art and trend sports, combined with free admission, made the festival a popular family destination in the northern Ruhr area again in 2025.
