For years, Kulturkreis Salzgitter e.V. has been the driving force behind sophisticated chamber music in the city. With a carefully curated concert series, the volunteer-run association succeeds in bringing top-class ensembles to the region and building a consistent classical audience. The choice of venues underscores the ambition: the historic Fürstensaal of Schloss Salder offers a dignified setting with excellent acoustics, while the Protestant churches of Groß Mahner and Salzgitter-Bad complement the series with their own sacred atmosphere.

Klarinettentrio Schmuck – Clarinet, strings, and piano in a rarely heard ensemble. Protestant Church Salzgitter-Groß Mahner.

Zoria Trio – Piano trio focusing on Eastern European Romanticism and Modernism. Fürstensaal Schloss Salder.

Fürstensaal Schloss Salder

The Fürstensaal of Schloss Salder is a room steeped in history. The Renaissance castle, now home to the Municipal Museum, offers an intimate concert atmosphere for around 150 listeners in the Fürstensaal, with excellent chamber music acoustics. The historic wall decorations and stylish seating make every concert an experience.
