Edition 2025 — Walpurgisnacht Arthur

The Kulturfestival Walpurgisnacht 2025 at Kulturhaus Arthur took place on the eve of May 1st, once again gathering around 1,000 visitors to kick off the Chemnitz open-air season. Live music, an acrobatics show, DJ sets, and atmospheric lighting transformed the grounds on Hohe Straße into a vibrant open-air cultural festival.

Walpurgisnacht 2025

On April 30, 2025, Arthur e.V. once again organized the Walpurgisnacht at Kulturhaus Arthur in Chemnitz. Live music with local and regional bands, an acrobatics and fire show, DJ sets, and atmospheric lighting attracted around 1,000 visitors to the Schloßchemnitz district.

The festival once again confirmed its position as the start of the Chemnitz open-air season and as an important district festival in the context of Chemnitz, European Capital of Culture 2025. A preparatory edition for the 2026 Walpurgisnacht.
