The predecessor season in 2025 still took place under the classic name "Kultur auffe Rampe" on the ramp of the Ruhrfestspielhaus — four or more Monday evenings with jazz, classical music, cabaret, and literature. The established series by the Institute for Cultural Work attracted hundreds of visitors per evening.
The 2025 summer series "Kultur auffe Rampe" on the ramp of the Ruhrfestspielhaus once again confirmed the format's appeal: accessible culture in the middle of the city, free of charge, featuring artists from Recklinghausen in jazz, classical music, cabaret, and literature. In 2026, the series will move to the schoolyard of Gymnasium Petrinum due to the renovation of the Ruhrfestspielhaus — as "Kultur aufm Hof".
