Overview
In 2025, the Kulmbach Trails once again saw runners ascend from the market square to the Plassenburg and into the Frankenwald. With the Long, Short, and Mini Trail, as well as the Kids Race, the event organized by the Crazy Runners Team Frankenwald offered competitions for all performance levels.
The Kulmbach Trails 2025 took place in September and, as usual, led from the historic Kulmbach market square up to the Plassenburg and over the Frankenwald-Steigla through the Upper Franconian beech forest. The Crazy Runners Team Frankenwald once again hosted the four competitions: Long Trail, Short Trail, Mini Trail, and Kids Race. The event confirmed its reputation as a fixture in the Upper Franconian trail running calendar and paved the way for the 2026 edition.
