Overview

The Kulmbach Old Town Festival 2025 took place in early July in the historic old town. Three days of live music on multiple stages, Kulmbach festival beer, and Franconian specialties once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the Upper Franconian beer capital. Organizers as always: City of Kulmbach with the street representatives.

47th Old Town Festival

In July 2025, the 47th edition of the Kulmbach Old Town Festival took place. As every year, the historic city center transformed into an open-air stage landscape for three days with up to twenty live acts on various stages.

The individual alleys and streets organized their own festival caterers, Kulmbach beer flowed from the taps of the local brewery. Franconian specialties — Schäufele, Bratwurst, Sauerbraten — completed the culinary offerings. The organizers were the Tourism & Event Service of the City of Kulmbach in cooperation with the street representatives.
