Overview
In 2025, the village of Krickelsdorf also celebrated its traditional Kirwa on the weekend around Trinity Sunday. The Kirwabaum, a Kirwa church service, the dancing of the Kirwapaare in traditional costume, and hearty live music once again made the three-day festival a highlight of the Upper Palatinate Kirwa season.
The Krickelsdorfer Kirwa 2025 continued the unbroken tradition since 1970. On the weekend around Trinity Sunday, the young people of Krickelsdorf erected the Kirwabaum, celebrated the Kirwa church service, and danced the Kirwapaare in traditional costume. Supported by the local groups of KLB and KLJB and hospitality from volunteers, the Kirwa around the "Zur Linde" inn once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most atmospheric Kirwan in the Amberg-Sulzbach district.
