Overview
The Kreuzerhöhungskirmes Coesfeld 2025 once again brought the Coesfeld amusement park to the city center on the third weekend of September. Around 50 rides (including Musikexpress and Flash-High-Voltage), market stalls on the weekend, classic funfair specialties, and the Family Day with special prices on Monday characterized the traditional folk festival weekend.
The 2025 edition once again confirmed the status of the Kreuzerhöhungskirmes as the most important Coesfeld funfair of the year. With around 50 rides, the characteristic market stalls, and strong family orientation on Monday's Family Day, it shaped the Münsterland September weekend. The historical Exaltation of the Cross as a religious background continued to connect the festival with the region's Catholic tradition.
