Overview

The 2025 edition of Krake Festival ran from June 18 to 23 over three event days. The opening, as usual, was at Berghain with a concert format, followed by the closing weekend at ://about blank with open-air and indoor floors. The inclusion focus featured international and Berlin-based artists with and without disabilities.

The 2025 festival stuck to its tried-and-tested format: Wednesday evening opening at Berghain, followed by a few days of breaks and off-spaces, then the weekend open-air at about blank. The Killekill crew once again curated acts from the dark Techno and Experimental spectrum.

The Berghain opening on June 18 focused on inclusive performance — as in previous years, artists with and without disabilities shared the evening. The main nights on June 22 and 23 at about blank brought international acts to two floors, with long open-air sets until midnight.

For over a decade, Krake has been a staple of Berlin's club culture, attracting both a regular Berlin audience and travelers seeking to understand the city beyond the tourist trails.
