Overview
In 2025, the Kocherlball was once again one of the most attended traditional events of the Munich summer. Dance instructors and folk musicians led dances for four hours continuously, and the beer garden served ox rolls, Obatzda, and pretzels. Since its revival in 1989 for the 200th anniversary of the English Garden, the ball has become one of Munich's most defining summer traditions and remains — despite growing crowds — freely accessible. The 2025 edition concluded at ten in the morning, flowing seamlessly into the Frühschoppen.
