The Samtens Kite Festival also took place in October 2025. With autumn wind, colourful kites rose into the sky above Samtens, accompanied by kite competitions, music, and delicacies.
In 2025, the municipality of Samtens once again invited visitors to its autumn kite festival. With favorable autumn wind, kites of all shapes and colours transformed the sky above western Rügen into a colourful spectacle.
Kite competitions for children and adults, music, fun for kids, and gastronomic offerings made the festival a cheerful autumn event for the West-Rügen region – a convivial programme item for families, locals, and guests.
