Overview
In 2025, the Kirwa-Burschen and Kirwa-Madli once again transformed Plech's market square into a festival mile. Four days of festival tent and bar operation, raising of the Kirwa tree in Schulstraße, a festival parade, Sunday Frühschoppen, and the traditional tree dance at the fire station characterized the Plech Kirwa.
The 2025 edition of the Plech Kirwa confirmed its concept as the largest village festival in the market town of Plech. With Kirwa Plech e.V. as the organizer and a team of volunteers, the weekend around the market square and Schulstraße was held as a family-friendly, traditional customs festival.
Plech thus continues to uphold its reputation as one of the vibrant Kirchweih destinations in the Franconian Switzerland – at the intersection between the Bayreuth and Nuremberg regions.
