Overview

The Kirwa Pertolzhofen 2025 once again drew residents and guests of the Niedermurach municipality to the Vereinstodl Pertolzhofen. With the Kirwapaare, the traditional Frühschoppen, and musical accompaniment by the Edelweißkapelle Pertolzhofen, the festival maintained its character as a central customs event in the Upper Palatinate Forest in 2025.

In 2025, Kirwa was celebrated in Pertolzhofen with great dedication. Over several days, residents, traditional costume wearers, and guests gathered at the Vereinstodl, the Kirwapaar carried on the tradition, and the Edelweißkapelle provided musical accompaniment for the central program points.

The Kirwa once again underscored the importance of smaller Upper Palatinate village festivals, where customs are not merely preserved but lived daily – and laid the foundation for the 2026 edition with the Frühschoppen on October 4.
