Overview
In 2025, Kirchdorf im Wald again celebrated its Kirwa on the last weekend of August. Festival tent in the village center, dance evening with a live band on Saturday, festive church service, and Frühschoppen on Sunday. As always, a typical Arberland Kirwa between tradition and Lower Bavarian inn culture.
The Kirwa Kirchdorf 2025 followed its established format: festival tent opening on Friday evening, dance evening on Saturday, and on Sunday, the festive church service and Frühschoppen. The local associations handled the organization, with the youth club responsible for the festival tent program.
As every year, the Kirwa attracted visitors from the surrounding communities of the Arberland – an event where the village reaffirms its connection to the parish church and Lower Bavarian folk culture.
