Edition 2025 — Kirschblütenfest Krefeld
The 10th Kirschblütenfest at Alexanderplatz Krefeld took place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM — a tenth anniversary with a special musical program, flea market, and art activities. The Japanese ornamental cherries bloomed on time, bathing the square in pink light. Several thousand Krefeld residents celebrated the round anniversary of one of the city's most charming neighborhood festivals.
The anniversary of the Krefeld Kirschblütenfest 2025 celebrated ten years of Bahnbezirk tradition. Initiated by the Bürgerverein Bahnbezirk and the Nachbarschaftstiftung Samtweberviertel, Alexanderplatz transformed into a 7-hour neighborhood festival under blooming ornamental cherries. A music stage, flea market, performances, and a children's program marked the festive day — the tenth edition of the Kirschblütenfest set the standard for future years.
