The Kalkar-Wissel Kirmes 2025 took place in July, as every year, at Wissel's market square. The Wissel marksmen's brotherhood organized the king's shooting and Kirmes following the established Lower Rhine schedule. With a festival tent, catering, live music, and the King's Ball, the festival followed its proven format.

In July 2025, the Wissel marksmen's brotherhood continued its annual tradition. The king's shooting and Kirmes followed the established schedule — the festival tent on the market square formed the center for catering, live music, and the King's Ball.
Wissel thus joins the dozens of marksmen's and fair festivals coordinated by the Kleve district association during the summer months. The rural, Lower Rhine festival tradition remains a central part of village identity.
