In June 2025, the Weismainer Blasmusik opened the Kastenhof festival grounds as usual. The festival host collection with a concert kicked off Friday evening, followed by the tapping ceremony at 7:30 PM. The weekend continued with a grand festival evening on Saturday, a classic morning pint on Sunday morning, and a family afternoon on Monday — concluding with a performance by the Bläserklasse Weismain and the Kirchweih closing with a guest band. For decades, the Kirchweih has been the town's most important summer festival, drawing visitors from the entire Lichtenfels district to Weismain.
