Overview

The Kirchweih Winkelhaid 2025 was celebrated again in the town center. Amusement rides, folk music, and the dancing of the Kärwabaum characterized the festival weekend. The Middle Franconian Kärwa tradition attracted visitors from the entire Nürnberger Land district to the municipality.

The Kärwa Winkelhaid 2025 once again confirmed the strength of the Middle Franconian Kirchweih tradition. Over four days of festivities, the amusement rides for families, the Franconian cuisine for gastronomy, and the dancing of the Kärwabaum by the Kärwabuam and Kärwamadla provided the traditional highlight.

The revived tradition of dancing the Kärwabaum proved to be a central attraction again in 2025 — young adults from Winkelhaid and the districts of Penzenhofen actively participated, ensuring the continuation of the custom.
