The VfL Kirchweih Issigau 2025 took place on the last weekend of October. Three days of festivities at the sports facility with Upper Franconian cuisine, beer, and club life — a quiet autumn Kerwa far from tourist paths.
The VfL-Kerwa 2025 in Issigau followed the established pattern: festival opening on Saturday, religious service and morning pint on Sunday, and closing on Monday. The sports facility served as the meeting point for club members, locals, and regular guests.
The volunteer-run event is an example of the enduring, vibrant Kirchweih culture in the small communities of Upper Franconia, far from commercial tourism, but with all the more authenticity.
