Overview
The 2025 Veldner Kirwa once again drew costume wearers and Kirwa enthusiasts from the Nürnberger Land region to the town on the Pegnitz. The Kirwabaum, dance evenings, and parade characterized the four-day festival.
In July 2025, the Veldner Kirwa took place as usual on the third weekend of July. The Kirwaboum Velden e.V. organized the festival with the raising of the Kirwabaum on Friday, a dance and Frühschoppen program over the weekend, and Schoorbomtag on Monday.
The Kirwa confirmed its reputation as one of the most vibrant Franconian Kirchweihen in the Nürnberger Land district — driven by the commitment of young lads and girls.
