Overview

The 2025 Kirchweih- und Königsschießen Ehingen am Ries took place as usual at the end of September in the Schützenheim at the community center. The local shooting club determined its new Shooting King over the weekend, while the village celebrated its Kirchweih with refreshments. The festive award ceremony for the Kirchweih shooting competition followed a few weeks later, also in the Schützenheim.

The 2025 edition focused on the local shooting tradition: opening on Friday evening in the Schützenheim, shooting competition throughout the weekend, announcement of the Shooting King at the award ceremony. As every year, the King's Shoot was closely linked to the village Kirchweih celebration — the joint festival concept combines club life and the parish's patron saint's day.

Franconian-Swabian specialties were served in the Schützenheim; the village community gathered for conversations and conviviality within the festival framework.
