Kirchweih Speinshart — Edition 2025

The Speinshart Kirwa 2025 followed the centuries-old tradition of the monastery village. The KLJB Speinshart and the Kirwa Association raised the Kirwabaum, organized the festival tent, and ran the festival catering. The monastery community of Speinshart, traditionally Premonstratensian canons in the tradition of the monastery, organized the spiritual festival week with Patron Saint's Day celebration, festive services, and religious lectures.

The spatial arrangement — the KLJB festival meadow between the monastery church and the Wieskapelle — created, as every year, an impressive interweaving of the secular and the sacred: the festival tent in the shadow of the baroque monastery church. This special spatial constellation is considered one of the most beautiful Kirwa settings in the entire Upper Palatinate.
