Overview

The Schamelsberger Kerwa 2025 coincided with the 145th anniversary of the Schamelsberg Volunteer Fire Department. The weekend of August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, was celebrated with a major event, including the consecration of the FFW's new vehicle. The festival on the first Sunday in August attracted visitors from Emtmannsberg, Bayreuth, and surrounding areas.

145 Years of FFW Schamelsberg — Kerwa with Vehicle Consecration

The 2025 edition of the Schamelsberger Kerwa was marked by a special anniversary: 145 years of the Schamelsberg Volunteer Fire Department. On August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, not only was the classic Kirchweih celebrated, but an official vehicle consecration also took place.

The festival grounds were located, as usual, around the fire station in the Schamelsberg district. Franconian specialties, regional beer, and live music accompanied the anniversary weekend. The event was jointly supported by the FFW Schamelsberg and the clubs of the Emtmannsberg municipality.
