Edition 2025 — Kirchweih Rüdenhausen
The Kirchweih Rüdenhausen 2025 took place at the end of August with the established five-day structure. The festival service, castle dance in the Fürstlich Castell'sche Schlosspark, civic procession, and civic ball characterized the festival weekend in the market on the Steigerwald.
The 2025 Kirchweih again followed its classic structure: festival service and Kirchweih sermon in the castle to kick off on Sunday, castle dance on Monday, civic procession by the fraternity members and the civic guard on Tuesday with a shooting competition in the Schlosspark, Kirchweih evening drinks mid-week, and a festive civic ball to conclude. The combination of the princely castle, the fraternity, and the civic guard makes the Rüdenhausen Kirchweih one of the most authentically maintained castle Kirchweihen in Mainfranken.
