Overview

The Kirchweih Rittersbach 2025 was traditionally celebrated on the second weekend of July at the Rittersbach sports ground. Kärwabuam and Kärwamadli hosted the festival with a tent, Kärwabaum erection, and social program – an authentic Franconian village experience in southern Middle Franconia.

As in previous years, the Kärwabuam and Kärwamadli from Rittersbach celebrated their village Kirchweih at the sports ground in 2025. Festival tent opening on Friday, Kärwabaum erection on Saturday, festival Sunday with Frühschoppen and dancing, and Kehraus on Monday formed the classic schedule.

The Kärwa once again confirmed its role as an important point of identification for the village community in the Rittersbach district. Guests from the main town of Georgensgmünd and the other districts, as well as from the entire Roth district, participated in the four-day festival. The custom lives on – supported by a dedicated village youth.
