Overview

The 2025 Kirchweih in Raitenbuch took place as usual in the third October weekend: four days of festival tent, Reihtanz of the Kirwa couples, and Sunday morning pint — the autumn finale on the Franconian Jura plateau, cherished for generations.

The Raitenbucher Kerwa 2025 followed the classic pattern of an Altmühlfranken autumn Kirchweih: opening on Friday evening with the ceremonial tapping of the keg in the festival tent, dance evening on Saturday, and the traditional festive service on Sunday morning, followed by the morning pint with brass music from a regional band. The highlight, as always, was the Reihtanz performed by the Kirwa couples around the Kirwabaum on Sunday afternoon.

As part of the Kirchweih season in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district, Raitenbuch 2025 concluded the late October festivities before the season officially ended with the All Saints' Day weekend.
